Getting There
Where To Fly
Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS)
Getting To Sintra
From Lisbon, you can reach Sintra by:
Public Transportation: Take the Lisbon Metro (Red Line) from the airport to Oriente, Alameda, or Rossio Station. Then, board the Sintra train from Rossio Station (40-minute ride).
Trains depart every 20 minutes during the day, with the first train leaving at 5:41 AM and the last at 1:01 AM. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
Car/Taxi: Sintra is 30-40 minutes from Lisbon’s city center by car. You can take a taxi, Uber, or rent a car for a scenic drive.

Q&A
What do I wear?

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and pretty. That could be a suit, outfit, or nice dress you've always wanted to wear but never could. We're not strict about this ;)
Is the wedding outside?

Yes, weather pending, but we have the option to move the party inside if it gets cold.
What is the weather like in Portugal in late September?

Mild and pleasant. A bit cooler than Lisbon since it's in the mountains. Daytime temperatures typically range from 20°C to 24°C (68°F to 75°F). Nighttime can drop to around 14°C to 17°C (57°F to 63°F).
You're from Chile and the US living in Berlin. Why Portugal?

It's where we went on our first trip together, it has nice weather, food, people, and it's "in the middle" of where all our loved ones live.
Until when does the party go?

The wedding location let us know specifically there is no restriction on how late the party can go. FYI for our non-Chileans guests, it is normal for Chilean weddings to go all night and into the morning.
